MongoEnumerable.StandardDeviationSample<TSource> Method (IEnumerable<TSource>, Func<TSource, Nullable<Decimal>>)

Computes the sample standard deviation of a sequence of values that are obtained by invoking a transform function on each element of the input sequence.

Parameters

source
Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<TSource>
A sequence of values to calculate the population standard deviation of.
selector
Type: System.Func<TSource, Nullable<Decimal>>
A transform function to apply to each element.

Type Parameters

TSource
The type of the elements of source.

Return Value

Type: Nullable<Decimal>
The population standard deviation of the sequence of values.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerable<TSource>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
